Amtico Flooring, a leading manufacturer of high-quality flooring, commissioned R211 to develop two direct mailings specifically targeting architects and building contractors. The communication focused on two key product benefits: the design variety through combinable materials and the acoustic properties of Amtico floors.
Communication for the senses
R211 designed the mailings as a multi-sensory experience. The topics of “Integrated Design” and “Acoustic” were not only explained, but staged in a tangible and audible way. The aim was to make the special qualities of the products directly tangible – without detours, but with a clear brand impact.



For the topic of “Integrated Design”, an interactive cube was created, which makes the combination of carpet and vinyl tiles playfully tangible. The mailing on the subject of “Acoustic” surprised with a folding card that made typical noises from the office environment audible. Both formats linked to individually designed landing pages with in-depth information.

The direct mailings combined unusual formats with a clear call to action. Through the combination of print and digital experience, the responsiveness of the target group was measurably increased.
