Design Concept for the European Market
PCS Sole, a Chinese manufacturer of orthopedic insoles, commissioned R211 to develop a Corporate Design concept to prepare the brand for the European market. The design included a new logo and a modular design system to accompany the brand’s appearance at the OT World trade fair in Leipzig. The aim was to make PCS Sole visible as an innovative provider of orthopedic solutions and to specifically address different target groups.
Flexible Design Concept for the European Market
The developed Corporate Design is based on an emotional, target-audience-focused visual identity and a distinctive logo. It enables flexible communication for both physically active individuals and professionals with orthopedic needs. The design concept envisages consistent implementation across various channels, from social media to print and trade fair appearances, to establish PCS Sole as an independent product brand.

A central element of the concept was the trade fair appearance at OT World in Leipzig. Despite a small corner stand, a well-thought-out stand design and interactive elements generated a great deal of attention. In particular, the individual production of insoles on site strengthened visitor loyalty and effectively supported the brand experience.

The project laid a scalable foundation for a possible brand strategy in Europe. The trade fair appearance demonstrated the appeal of the product and the potential of strategically managed brand communication. Even though the concept has not yet been implemented, it offers PCS Sole a solid basis for future market entries.
