Corporate Design more than a logo

Create added value for your brand with a flexible Corporate
Design across all channels.

Corporate Design is often reduced to the logo, colors, and fonts, but there is much more to it than that. It’s about creating a clear visual identity that reflects your brand values on every channel. Whether digital or analog – a well-thought-out Corporate Design creates recognition and conveys the right message even before the logo is perceived.

Corporate Design creates added value

Corporate Design is not just for recognition. It is a strategic tool that consistently transports your brand across various touchpoints. Colors, fonts, and shapes are carriers of messages and ensure that your brand is perceived uniformly and professionally in every medium. It’s about developing a design that is so concise through its visual characteristics that your brand remains unmistakable even without the logo.

The first step: analyzing touchpoints

The first step to a successful Corporate Design is the analysis of the touchpoints. It is crucial to understand how and where your brand interacts with customers – whether on social media, the website, or through physical media. Each medium has different requirements for Corporate Design.

Our Mission – Corporate Design as a Strategic Tool

For us, Corporate Design is more than just design – it is part of the brand strategy. A clear understanding of the brand, target groups, and messages forms the basis. We always approach design from its context: cross-channel, adaptable, and strategically conceived.

FaQ

The duration varies greatly, but basic elements should be completed in about 8 weeks, depending on the availability of decision-makers. It is recommended to work towards a fixed launch date. Alternatively, a strategy can be pursued in which individual media are gradually equipped and supplemented with the new Corporate Design.

Social media channels have the greatest impact. Here, it quickly becomes apparent whether the Corporate Design contains enough flexible design elements to function across various platforms and with diverse posting formats.

In addition to fonts, colors, and a suitable visual identity, design elements should definitely be developed that run through all communication and create strong recognition.

No, a thorough brand analysis is crucial. From the target groups and touchpoints, it can be deduced where the Corporate Design must function particularly well. Industry knowledge is helpful, but understanding the user journey and brand interaction is significantly more important.

The Corporate Design should be reviewed at least every 5 years. Not everything needs to be changed, but often small adjustments and extensions are sufficient to make the design functional and contemporary again.

In most cases, a PDF manual is sufficient, ideally containing interactive navigation, positioned centrally, and continuously updated. Corporate assets can be conveniently shared via a marketing cloud. A Corporate Design Hub is particularly useful when many parties are working with the Corporate Design simultaneously on an international level.

“The great strength of R211 is that they are able to transfer brand stories into different media. For many, brand development is the end. At R211, we liked the fact that they analyzed the user journeys of our sales channels and further developed our brand story from the website to the social media templates.”
