Temporary exhibition Level 3.0 in the Post Tower

Almost 10,000 visitors annually – including guests, employees and international delegations – experience an exhibition of Deutsche Post DHL Group on the 30th floor of the Post Tower in Bonn. A new presentation was to be created here, which would make business areas and forward-looking initiatives tangible. R211 supported the i.xpo project team from Kaarst, which was responsible for the concept and realization of the permanent exhibition “Level 3.0”. The aim was to maintain the common thread of the corporate brand while vividly presenting innovations and developments in order to convey an enlightened and future-oriented corporate image.

Modular exhibition design for changing content

The exhibition was thematically structured and integrated into an architectural framework concept that gave the individual business areas space for individual development. The color scheme, typography and graphic elements are based on the Corporate Design of Deutsche Post DHL Group. Modularity and sustainability were central requirements: entire modules can be exchanged or repurposed to keep content up to date.

At eleven interactive stations, visitors discover innovations such as the Post-Mobil-App, electromobility projects, the start-up lab and the e-post. In addition to the content and design implementation, the tasks also included naming the exhibition and conceiving and realizing an English-language accompanying brochure. The result is a uniform but versatile brand presence that conveys knowledge and arouses interest.

The exhibition on the 30th floor has existed for several years and is continuously updated. It makes investments in digital innovations and sustainability tangible, shows commitment projects such as “Mission 2050” (zero emissions by 2050) or the digital module “Volunteering”. Here, too, R211 designed the user interface and took over the programming of the media station. The modular, long-lasting concept ensures that the content can always be presented in an up-to-date and interactive manner.

Agency

Thinking strategically ahead instead of just implementing. Communication gains its strength not from individual trades, but from their connection. Anyone who only thinks in terms of implementation risks breaks at the interfaces – especially when several specialized agencies are involved.
